FOR  FULL - SCREEN  HIT  'F11'  ON  YOUR  PC

Earliest photo of the very first 805, 1/2 College boys, 1/2 Cortland, NY townies.  (L-R, Glen Stern, Doug Belton, Mark Wissing, Dave Porter) This group was originally called "Raw Meat" and was about to lose a date at the Catholic high school because the priest didn't like the name, and was on the phone demanding "change it or no gig."  Not wanting to forfeit the money or the chance to pick up Catholic girls, 805 was instantly pulled from a song title on the first MOBY GRAPE album (their one and only hit was titled "Omaha").   We later made up more interesting stories like 805 was the computer readout for the end of the world, or the number of crabs one of our road crew found on himself.  This group disbanded in 1974.
